Ingredients
Chicken Fajitas
- Boneless, skinless chicken breasts, sliced into thin strips or diced
- 1 large onion, thinly sliced
- 2 bell peppers (preferably a mix of colors), thinly sliced
- Taco seasoning
- Corn or flour tortillas, warmed
- 1tbs Olive Oil
- Optional toppings: Guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, salsa, chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the chicken strips to the skillet. Cook for about 5-6 minutes.
- Add in sliced onion, peppers and taco seasoning to the skillet and continue cooking until chicken is cooked through.
- Warm the flour tortillas in a dry skillet or microwave according to package instructions.
- Spoon the chicken and vegetable mixture onto the center of each tortilla.
- Add your desired toppings, such as guacamole, sour cream, shredded cheese, salsa, and chopped cilantro.
- Fold the tortillas tightly around the filling, creating neat fajita wraps.
